This diagram shows the relation of different Jowles components.

Jowles is a device framework for homebrew mobile phones. It is both a specification for software components as well as a small collection of programs and libraries. The objective of the Jowles project is to provide a simple, easy to understand and easy to extend environment for open mobile phones. The Jowles core is comprised of 11 cooperating applications and a number of standard open source libraries.
